The Hut is a unique bamboo dwelling set amongst tranquil rice-paddies on the outskirts of Chiang Mai in Maerim. The Hut is the perfect hide-away for writers, artists, meditators, nature lovers or those who seek a quiet and exclusive place to get away from it all.
Wake up to a magical sunrise over-looking rice paddies and a distant mountain range while indulging in a wholesome and scrumptious breakfast in bed or on the terrace, whenever you’re ready! Activities include walking, jogging, cycling, exploring the meandering country paths and bird watching. In-house yoga, massage treatments as well as sight-seeing, shopping and dining can be arranged upon request and at additional costs.
Unique and comfortable in its design, compelling in its diversity of natural elements, and stunning in its simplicity, this one-of-a kind structure was built by architects from Bambooroo predominantly of bamboo combined with other natural materials; furnishings and details were exclusively designed and made by Gerard Collection. With such a distinctive concept, The Hut has been awarded the 2013 Chiangmai Design Award for architecture.
Located off highway 107, 13.5 kilometers North of Chiang Mai City Center and in-between two golf courses: Lanna and Green Valley. Many of Chiang Mai’s preferred sightseeing spots are also minutes away.
The Hut comfortably accommodates two guests in a completely private setting. Amenities include a 35 square meter space with bedroom, terrace overlooking rice paddies, bar, fridge, hot-water kettle, Wi-Fi, bathroom with rain shower plus a range of ultimate body care products by SABU-SABU … naturally!
